Chapter 0: The Moment Fate Awakens

When you woke up, you found yourself in a world completely different from the modern era called Shinga.

In the moment you were suspected as an enemy and about to be killed, the one who ordered taking you back to the castle, called the worst move, was “Date Masamune”.

In the dark woods, two men surveyed the castle below them.

[???]: “Weapons and provisions are being carried out from the castle one after another…… As we thought, they intend to have a large battle soon.”

[???]: “Looks like it. Once they open the castle during battle, it’ll be the perfect chance for a surprise attack.”

[???]: “Aa…… Alright, getting this information should be more than enough. Let’s return to the castle, Shigezane.”

[DATE SHIGEZANE]: “If we get found by the enemy, there’ll be no meaning to our scouting, huh. Roger that–…… wait, huh? Hey, Kojuurou, where’d Masamune go?”

[KATAKURA KOJUUROU]: “Hm?…… He was just here a second ago–“

[name]: (Ngh…………? Huh, where is… this place……?)

[???]: “…… What do we do? It’d be bad to leave her alone.”

[???]: “That’s true. In any case, maybe we should try waking her?”

[???]: “…… Does it even matter.”

Unable to leave a girl alone in the mountains, it was a werewolf called “Uesugi Kenshin” who offered a helping hand.

[name]: “Mn, nngh…… huh? When did I…… faint……”

[name]: (Huh……!?)

Astonished at the sight that leapt into my eyes, I blinked with surprise.

There were thickly grown trees as far as my eyes could see. There weren’t any street lights or buildings to be found in the area.

[name]: “Why am I in such a place……?”

Sengoku Night Blood ~ Introduction Guide ~

Posted on Updated on

Sengoku Night Blood (senbura for short) is a mobile otome game collaboration between Otomate, Kadokawa, and Marvelous. It features an impressive main cast of 28 seiyuu and 6 different artists who have done illustrations for many Otomate games. More details about this can be found in my Sengoku Night Blood page.

Official site is senbura.jp.

This post is going to double as both an introduction to the game and a guide (with any tips & tricks I picked up on). Please feel free to offer suggestions in the comments below, ask any questions, or even just talk about the game.

STORY: In a parallel universe on a world called Shinga, during the Sengoku period, a war-torn country was united by a mysterious woman called Himemiko. Her blood had the ability to strengthen the gekkazoku, a race that consists of two species – vampires and werewolves – who share this world with humans.

But one day Himemiko disappeared and the peace was broken. Shinga became split into various territories, each ruled by a warlord, who put their lives on the line to fight and unite the country under their name, ideals, and beliefs.

However, before Himemiko’s disappearance, she foretold the appearance of a woman from a parallel universe, “you”, and told her follower, Imari, to seek you out. Meanwhile, you hear the mysterious voice of a woman and awaken to find yourself in Shinga.

It turns out your blood has the same effects as Himemiko’s and you become indispensable to the warlords in their vision to unite the country. A story about love and war begins!

Light Beyond 3 ~ Prologue ~

What is a miracle?

Sometimes, it might be the glittering stars in a black, night sky, which moves a person’s heart.
Sometimes, it might be the flower blooming in the wide desert, which comforts a person’s heart.

But in time the night will end and the glittering stars will disappear.
But in time the sand will dance and the colored flowers will be scattered.

It is only the human will that raises a miracle.
Even if one thinks it is lost, they must not give up.
If it is a miracle that cannot be lost, then one must never stop.

Only move forward.

As long as the flickering light beyond the road’s end is within sight.

Light Beyond 2 ~ An Old, Old Sibelius Story ~

A long time ago, there were two beautiful twin sisters who lived in the land of Schlezel.

The two sisters closely resembled each other, to the extent where no one could tell them apart. The older sister’s name was Rhodiani, and the younger sister was Endius. The two lived close to the entrance of the forest, a little ways off from the town. The two had lost their parents early and had no other relatives. Because of that, the two were bound by a strong bond. If one laughed, the other laughed; if one cried, the other cried. Even if their bodies were divided in two, their souls were one. This was how dear they thought of each other and trusted each other.

As they left the orphanage and went further on horse, the entrance to the forest appeared faster than she thought. And, indeed, there was a quiet graveyard spread out on their side of the forest. Not a lot of people seemed to come here and the hushed and lonely atmosphere made Yuna feel more and more depressed. She didn’t think anyone would want to stay here long with the force of the dense forest approaching from behind.

“Please do not leave my side.”

Stopping the horse, Asyut murmured that while looking around at their surroundings. Feeling the tension in his form, Yuna also braced herself once more.

Looking out over this desolated ground, there was not a soul in sight. Instead, there were shabby tombstones dotting the grounds.
