Luciole no Hime
Dr. Thriller (Dr.スリラー)
CV: Oosaka Ryouta (逢坂 良太)
The prison warden who oversees the prison in the tower of the castle. He seems to act cheerily to everyone, but he is broken from seeing too much tragedy. Perhaps, due to that, it seems that there are times when he suddenly changes into a different person. It’s said that he prepared the last supper for the princess with luxurious ingredients he prepared from somewhere. Because of a certain incident, he urged you to escape…
EVERYONE SAY HELLO TO THE BEST BOY! Haha, anyway, thank you so much to anonymous for the Luciole commissions. This is the last one in the series and reveals something crazy. WARNING: Macabre depictions. Because his CD booklet needs to be seen, I will be attaching a picture below and then the translations.
Robin Torkia (ロビン・トルキア)
CV: Kondou Takashi (近藤 隆)
A mysterious butler who covers his mouth with a rubber mask. He has extensive knowledge and is a polite escort, but when indignated he falls into an uncontrollable rage. He has an outlook on life where he seems to have given up on everything and it’s said his favorite phrase is “Aah, I want to die”.
Thank you so much to anonymous for the commission of this CD booklet. For the main CD translation, mikorin did one here. WARNING: Macabre depictions and one cannibalism mention. Reminder, please listen to the whole series in order! We’re almost to my favorite character of this series, although Robin also has a place in my heart.
CV: Kishio Daisuke (岸尾 だいすけ)
The younger twin of the older brother, Gauche, and in contrast his right eye glows like a firefly. It’s said that his vision in both eyes is poor. He has androgynous features and, because he barely has any expressions, it’s hard to tell what he’s thinking. It seems that he’s cursed to be unable to blink. He was the one who called out “Princess” at your side when you woke…
Thank you to anonymous for the second main part of their commission. I’m a broken record by now, but please listen to this series in order LOL. WARNING: Eye gore and macabre depictions.
CV: Tamaru Atsushi (田丸 篤志)
The older brother of the “right firefly”, his glowing left eye is covered by an eyepatch. He has a cynical personality, doesn’t open his heart to anyone, is cold to them, and has an air of disinterest. It’s said he knows all sorts of secrets about the castle.
Here is the third volume in the series. Thank you to anonymous for commissioning the CD booklet translation. For the main CD, please refer to mikorin’s translation here. Please, please, listen to this series in order because everything builds on top of each other. WARNING: Macabre depictions.
Neuro Paptism (ネウロ・パプテスマ)
CV: Masuda Toshiki (増田 俊樹)
A violent and arrogant prince who wears a crown of thorns. He always has a doll in one hand. He is familiar with the grand Luciole Castle, but is dissatisfied at being unable to leave. It’s said he strikes his doll whenever he’s displeased. He treats you harshly as well but… he’s not good with women because he distrusts them.
I’m making this post to keep the series in order, but I’ll be plopping mikorin’s translation here. Again, I highly recommend listening to this series in order. WARNING: Macabre depictions. Below is a translation of Neuro’s CD booklet. I don’t think it matters as to whether you read these things before or after the CD, both provide insights.
Solona Redfall (ソロナ・レッドフォール)
CV: Midorikawa Hikaru (緑川 光)
A handsome and listless musician, whose specialty is the violin. He has many scars and is wrapped in an air of mystery. He manages the affairs of the castle and is more knowledgeable about the castle than anyone else. According to reports, it seems like he hasn’t spoken to anyone for many years and, rather than being a poor talker, he has a sharp tongue.
My thanks to anonymous for the first part of their commission. I cannot stress how important it is to listen to this series in order and I’ll be providing links (+ some extra material) for the volumes that I won’t be translating because mikorin did a great job with them already. WARNING: Torture depictions. It’s Reject… what do you expect? Haha!
Thank you so much to anonymous for the large Luciole no Hime commission. This is one of my favorite drama CD series (among many others, oops) so I’m deciding to go all out with these posts. Here is Rejet’s PV for this series and the setting of the “documentary”.
When you awoke, it was in the room of an eerie castle.
There were the cries of uncanny birds and a discolored setting sun. The outside world was cut off by a dense forest and this place was extremely cold.
The battery of your cellphone—no matter what you did, it wouldn’t go in.
You were at a loss, wearing anachronistic clothes, and then a young man with one eye, which glimmered and shone brilliantly, spoke to you.
“Welcome home, Princess.”
Where was this place? And these men—…
