Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly
(This is the Grand Finale ending which continues from the Summer Camp episodes, so please head on over to the Best End to read up about the Summer Camp episodes in detail.)
(Last interlude, yay!)
(Hidden character again! I’m trying my best to hide spoilers but I’m pretty sure it’s obvious who is who by now… maybe. At any rate, I’m changing things up a little because there’s a short story which is locked until I do Kazuya’s ending first, so the Monshiro Interlude will have to come after this!)
CV: Matsuoka Yoshitsugu (松岡 禎丞)
Monshiro is a mysterious person of few words. He appears very early in the story, where he saves Beniyuri and Hikage from a monster. He speaks almost child-like and appears to have been isolated for a long time since he doesn’t seem to know how to act in social situations. He also instantly becomes attached to Beniyuri.
(I’m pretty sure I messed up the order of my posts because these interludes are just going to stab me in the heart over and over again after what I went through in Hikage’s route.)
CV: Ishikawa Kaito (石川 界人)
Hikage comes off as a very serious and reliable person. He’s the first person that the heroine meets in this mansion and he saves her life. Despite being emotionally stunted, Hikage seems to do his best in assuming a leadership position among the group and is concentrated on their survival and in getting out of this mansion. He can be rude and blunt but his words seem to come from a place of concern.
(Secret character time! Although I feel like it’s kind of obvious who this is from the way I have my posts organized. At any rate, please read the previous Psychedelica posts in order to understand the story in order.)
(Same old, same old. It’s Karasuba’s turn for some happy interlude time, but also featuring Monshiro and other characters!)
CV: Kakihara Tetsuya (柿原 徹也)
Karasuba is an incorrigible flirt and often appears not to take anything seriously. However, he’s also the type to hide things behind a smile and has a surprisingly cunning and perceptive mind. He appeared in the mansion around the same time that Yamato did, but the two of them get along like cats and dogs. On the other hand, he develops an instant liking for the heroine and is constantly trying to get closer to her.
(Welcome back from Kagiha’s route. WASN’T THAT FUN!? Now we get to have happy-cute times… hopefully. There’s also an important episode that we need to read about first before tackling other interlude scenes. Also, I may shove some extra childhood scenes here because organizing these short episodes are hard and I don’t know which one belongs to which character (>A<;) MERCY ON ME GAME. Also, cookies to everyone who has managed to follow my crazy posting style for this game. PS. This CG sums up my feelings for Kagiha.)
CV: Toriumi Kousuke (鳥海 浩輔)
Kagiha is a gentle and kind person. He always tries his best to keep the peace and mediates between anyone getting into a fight. He cares for everyone but it is also obvious that he is especially fond of the heroine. Much like the others, he says that he doesn’t remember anything apart from waking in the mansion but he also seems to have a deep connection with the heroine, feeling that she is familiar upon first sight. Random fact: he’s the tallest out of all the men.
(Due to some… special things in this route I’m going to post the route first before posting the happy-cute interlude one. YOU’LL SEE WHY.)
(Is this the first happy character route!? IT IS. IT FINALLY IS! I won’t spoil who this character is and so I won’t be tagging anything except for the usual general tags, but those who have been following my Psychedelica posts will know. This is my attempt at encouraging people to read these posts as a series.)
(Gotta clear out more ends until I unlock the character routes. I’m going to do a quick summary of everything that happens at the beginning up to this end, but if you want more details then please read the first few Psychedelica posts I have from the Prologue to Yamato.)
(This post will contain the rest of the common route all the way to the Best End, and so it has tons of spoilers. You’re going to need to read this to understand the rest of the true ends, but after you read this please please PLEASE don’t spoil this game for people who haven’t played it yet because the reveals are FANTASTIC when you have no idea what’s coming.)
(I’m developing an aneurysm trying to come up with a nice way to present these short episodes. Okay, so the majority of these are going to be Yamato’s short episodes but they will feature some other ones because we need to have cleared 17 of these to advance to the end of the game. All of these seem to be happening around Chapter 4, or are flashbacks).
