Light Beyond Road’s End [LN]

I actually discovered this book thanks to Kukkiriri’s teaser translations and immediately went out to buy the light novel version. I know that there is a web version being translated by Agni at yAmi translations but there are major differences between the two versions (there’s an introduction of a new character in Ch2 already but the bulk of the changes start from Ch5 of the light novel, which corresponds to Ch15 or so in the web version). I’m going to tackle the LN translation; I’ve read up to Chapter 30 of the web version but I’m more partial to the light novel because I felt like the themes were presented and wrapped up better in the books, but your mileage may vary – I have a friend who has read both but prefers the web version – so I hope Agni continues with their translations so people can have both experiences.

Defiant people in the royal palace, who were hurt by what happened in the cruelties of Celiastina’s past, start to change slowly, touched by the genuineness of Yuna’s heart. Yuna also starts to feel peace at living in the royal palace. However, the existence of an unexpected man who appeared as her new bodyguard shakes Yuna’s heart. Yuna, who harbors complicated emotions about having to disappear sooner or later and return Celiastina’s body, tries to sever her own hesitation by making efforts to learn about Celiastina’s past. You’re very welcome <3! Lots of hints of pain, haha, especially that Asyut quote right there.
