STORY: In a parallel universe on a world called Shinga, during the Sengoku period, a war-torn country was united by a mysterious woman called Himemiko. Her blood had the ability to strengthen the gekkazoku, a race that consists of two species – vampires and werewolves – who share this world with humans.
But one day Himemiko disappeared and the peace was broken. Shinga became split into various territories, each ruled by a warlord, who put their lives on the line to fight and unite the country under their name, ideals, and beliefs.
However, before Himemiko’s disappearance, she foretold the appearance of a woman from a parallel universe, “you”, and told her follower, Imari, to seek you out. Meanwhile, you hear the mysterious voice of a woman and awaken to find yourself in Shinga.
It turns out your blood has the same effects as Himemiko’s and you become indispensable to the warlords in their vision to unite the country. A story about love and war begins!
From 2.0.0 (and their 1st anniversary) onward, SNB has attached a subtitle to their name. It is now Sengoku Night Blood Koumei. The koumei is made up of two kanji literally meaning “light” and “alliance/oath”. Where will the “light” the heroine possesses lead these men? And this “oath” binds the men to their various motives and thoughts.

*sigh* i miss this game. I always come back here whenever i miss this game. And am still sad that they ended this game.
April 21, 2021 at 12:33
:’)) It was an ambitious project, what with all these well-known artists and an enormous cast with seiyuu. I’ll bet they were bleeding out money…
April 6, 2021 at 05:12
Hello, I run a blog on Tumblr (the name of which is in the name section of the comment), it’s a blog for female characters in otome games and I was wondering if I could use your translation for quotes that are from/about Yuzuki (and maybe Himemiko if I ever come across anything I’d like to use for her). Linked and credited, of course.
April 6, 2021 at 12:36
Sure! Thank you for asking, although I’m not sure if you still want to use these quotes when the game is dead, haha.
December 20, 2020 at 19:09
Hello! I was wondering if you ever had plans translating the manga of Sengoku Night Blood? I was looking at the live tweets and I am like OMG!!!!
December 21, 2020 at 18:34
I’m afraid none whatsoever. I wouldn’t have a good way of doing it and I have no experience in scanlations, haha.
May 15, 2020 at 01:44
What happened to the game actually? What does it mean by ‘the game service ended’?
May 15, 2020 at 19:59
It means it’s not being maintained or anything, so you can’t download it and play it anymore. They closed it down completely probably because it wasn’t making enough revenue to cover all the costs :(.
May 16, 2020 at 16:00
Oh no… that’s kinda sucks. I guess the competition between otome games must be really hard if that’s the case. Thank you for explaining and translating all the stories too!♡
April 8, 2020 at 11:42
Thank you for all the translation. It was an very intereting distraction. But I want more(ToT) (ToT) and there are a lot of events who aren’t be accessible.I hope the next with impatient
April 8, 2020 at 12:03
I didn’t translate most of the events :< and now the game service has ended, so there's no way to play this right now.
February 2, 2020 at 02:40
Its really too bad that they decided to terminate services for this mobage. The plot held so much promise and we didn’t even get to reaching the point where they would introduce the Tokugawa and other additional clans. I just hope that Otomate and Marvelous don’t leave the mobage/anime fans hanging short with what happened and instead will at least release a full fledged otome game for it instead in the future. I don’t even care if I have to pay DLC to gain access to all the other routes or buy two/three separate games to play through all other routes (like what they did for Fire Emblem Fates and the Pokemon games). At least we’d be allowed to actually enjoy the series for what it’s worth.
February 2, 2020 at 14:00
It was slated to have a Switch game, but they canceled that at the same time they terminated the mobage service… so I don’t think we’ll be seeing a game in the future for it either ;w; I guess it just didn’t do good overall at all. Competition looks really heavy in this market.
January 1, 2021 at 14:32
There are many special cards in YouTube. Can’t you translate these too??It’s realy mortifing to read but not to understand it.
January 1, 2021 at 19:35
I’m afraid I don’t do translation requests!
December 25, 2019 at 06:48
I can’t believe they did this to us. I can’t believe they left us without an end and didn’t even say anything about it. They pelted us with gems and didn’t give us a nice gacha to spend them in and then they didn’t give us closure. Wow. Marvelous is cruel. I can’t thank you enough for your hard work on translating this game, it was so much fun even though things didn’t end so well. I guess on the bright side this means I never had to leave Nobunaga’s side lol😂.
December 25, 2019 at 16:52
I actually think it’s rare for mobages to come to a clean resolution LOL because they either shut down service, or drag it out for so long that people lose interest and then they shut down service. I can’t say I’m too surprised because they didn’t have much going for it and the events were so mindlessly boring and the same thing over and over again without adding much to the story ;;; or characters as things went on. It felt like they were getting shorter and shorter too compared to the beginning ones.
Aw, you’re welcome! I’m actually surprised I managed to last to the end with these translations |D Haha, it was fun while it lasted and, yeah, we’ll have to fill the rest with our own imaginations LOL.
January 15, 2020 at 00:18
Lol! I can only imagine the number of fanfics after this…
December 24, 2019 at 13:41
I just want to say Merry Christmas Ili! 😆🎄🎉
Until the end, I can’t see Hideyoshi getting married to his lovey future bride…… lol 💦💦💦
December 25, 2019 at 16:49
Thanks! Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays to you too <3! Haha, they can get married in our imaginations~.
December 3, 2019 at 19:11
You know, I love Sengoku night blood and all and I especially love your translations but looking at this game, it just feels slightly wrong that they have all the armies except Tokugawa Ieyasu. I wonder if they’ll ever add him? But again, good job with the translations! I can’t wait for the next parts to be released!
December 3, 2019 at 19:36
Unfortunately, we’ll never know because they’re terminating the service for this game on December 25th ;w; M-Merry Christmas to us…
December 4, 2019 at 09:11
Yeah I agree. I always thought it was kinda weird they added the Mori instead of the Tokugawa. But considering how the Tokugawa the Toyotomi and the Oda were connected historically it might’ve made connecting the stories a bit more difficult, especially how they made sure to connect the Toyotomi to the Oda. I was hoping we’d get to see them eventually anyways but alas…
December 8, 2019 at 08:18
I’m a bit confused though…Who is Tokugawa Ieyasu I’ve never heard of him before…
December 10, 2019 at 15:39
Smol History Lesson: Tokugawa Ieyasu in Japanese history is one of the “3 Great Unifiers” of japan, with Nobunaga being the first, Hideyoshi the second, and Ieyasu the third. In history Both Ieyasu and Hideyoshi served under Nobunaga, with Hideyoshi ruling after Nobunaga’s death, and then Ieyasu after Hideyoshi’s. Infact the Tokugawa’s were the longest to rule as Shoguns in Japan (206 yrs to be exact!). This is why it seems weird that they decided to add the Mori instead of the tokugawa, in most Sengoku games that include these guys you almost always see all three.
December 13, 2019 at 09:28
Ooo okay thanks for the explanation!!!
November 6, 2019 at 19:11
Would you consider translating a couple of Katsuie’s potion interactions before the game ends? (not all of them ofc!)I Nobunaga is the best, but I’d just hate for the game to end without knowing at least one of the Big cry baby’s interactions.
November 6, 2019 at 20:16
i feel bad for not knowing the potion and card stories. there are so many of them. if anyone is kind enough for screenshots and video recordings will be great
November 7, 2019 at 23:09
Probably not because I’m a completionist who’d want to collect all of them before I translate them, but then thinking about doing something like that is just exhausting. I hear there’s a project going around to archive SNB stuff though, so if they make that open source then it’s not these resources are going to disappear forever :D
November 8, 2019 at 07:36
Ye, Im part of the archive project (rn archiving oda main story recordings,) I also plan on trying to record their potion bits & card stories. I also have an archive of card arts but it seems like the archive project is only looking for the main story + card stories rn🤔 ( anyone interested in the active project, it can be found on @senburanews on twitter
October 24, 2019 at 05:27
I’m so hurt that snb will shutdown on December, I’m going to miss all of them😢💔
October 24, 2019 at 05:31
is this true or confirm?
so they are going keep us hanging?
cant they do a manga or something that will give us closure?
October 24, 2019 at 05:35
i already check twitter. this is so sad. to make it worst. it’s on december 25!!!
someone should start recording videos.
October 24, 2019 at 09:06
On one hand, they did go for about two years, but on the other hand OOF there goes another game.
October 25, 2019 at 00:28
@ilinox
will you still do translation on sengoku night blood even if the game is about to be close soon?
October 25, 2019 at 11:34
Probably not. There’s no events I’m burning to translate or anything.
October 28, 2019 at 00:25
@waterinegirl they giving story keys as a login bonus for the final chapter. The final chapter will be given tomorrow if I read it correctly.
@ili I guess mobile games are hard business after all , it needs a lot of budget to run an app.
November 1, 2019 at 17:10
Will these translations still be kept here? As in, not deleted?
November 1, 2019 at 20:34
I’ll be keeping these here, yep! I spent so much work on these after all, haha.
August 29, 2019 at 11:25
is there going to be season 2 for the anime?
I read somewhere that is going to be realesed on October 2019, you know something about it? :c
August 30, 2019 at 15:45
I don’t think so? Or at least I haven’t heard any information about it getting a second season.
June 19, 2019 at 14:29
Think they’ll ever bring back the volcano event? I’ve wanted that Nobunaga for awhile, but either I’ve missed it if it returned, or they haven’t brought it back yet
June 19, 2019 at 18:49
They’ve brought it back once already ;;; I haven’t seen an event brought back 3 times yet (so far they’ve just been going through everything twice) so I’m not sure if it’ll come up again anytime soon, but never say never!!
June 5, 2019 at 15:07
Sooo just wondering (if you’ve tried them yet) …what are the choice scenes like? do they have any bearing on the story or are they just extra fluffy bits? I’ve been avoiding them cuz I’m afraid to pick the wrong thing lol
June 5, 2019 at 17:00
It looks like it’s just in the weekly quests (correct me if I’m wrong, since I only looked through the first two chapters of Toyotomi and didn’t see anything). They’re running an event right now where they let you collect conversations with the generals and commanders of each army every day. Once you see them once, you’ll unlock the conversation in their bond screen. Generals get ONE special voiced line. If you don’t select the right choice the first time around, you can always go to their bond screen and replay the scene and select the other choices.
